Politics: APC Suspends Chairman

According to The Vanguard, Chief Anike Nwoga has been suspended over alleged anti-party activities. Nwoga’s suspension was announced on Monday, May 9 by the party’s zonal secretary, Chuks Owo. Owo made the disclosure during the zonal executive committee meeting of the party. The motion for his suspension was moved by the zonal legal adviser, Jones Anigbogu, while Enugu East council chairman of the party, Michael Onyeka, seconded it.

Meanwhile, the party has set up a three-man committee to investigate all the allegations levelled against the party chieftain. More information coming soon.
