The Special Adviser to Bayelsa State Governor on Talent Development and Gender Promotion,
Hon. Mrs Helen Bob, today celebrated Children's Day in a grand style as she engaged Bayelsa State Children in a seminar with a theme; Girls, Stay Clean, Safe and Healthy for the future development of Bayelsa State.
Amidst of financial crisis in the state she went on hosting students and NGO to chat a way a forward for the girl-child. Today in the society, the Girl-child is facing big challenges such as Child Labour, Underage Marriage, Rape, Molestation, Domestic violence, etc.

Hon. Helen Bob who was incharge of talent development during the first tenure of Hon Seriaki Dickson did a lot to encourage young talent, especially the Ijaw girl. With such passion and zeal she as well after being promoted to the office of Special Adviser, has continue the legacy and would want to do more.
