This is amazing and stunning in style as the elegant goddess, Beyoncé was crowned a Style Icon at the CFDA Awards, the fashion equivalent of winning a Best Actress Oscar. It's a big deal, and well-deserved - particularly in the year that she's truly, fully, embraced fashion.
Her look has changed a lot over her two-decade-spanning career. We all remember the matching ensembles she wore during Destiny's Child (she recently said she'd now wear the tiny camouflage Survivor look as a Halloween costume), which were designed by her uncle and mum. As she said during her CFDAs acceptance speech, no one wanted to dress "four, curvy, country black girls", so her family stepped in with a sewing machine, needle and thread. I hope she's kept a list of those brands who slighted her, but she's probably too classy for that.
