Since the report having the three house of representative members went on air, it has become a strong topic amongst Nigerians
This has made the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, to call on the US government to provide evidence against the three lawmakers that were accused of sexual misconduct in the US.

Samuel Ikon (PDP, Akwa Ibom), Mohammed Gololo (APC, Bauchi) and Mark Gbillah (APC, Benue), were accused by the US government of sexual misconduct while they were on an official assignment in Cleveland, USA in April this year. In a series of tweets, Dogara argued that until they is an evidence to prove they are indeed guilty and also tried in court, the accused lawmakers are still innocent. See the tweets after the cut...

Dogara stated the only thing he has received from the US government was the letter indicting the three lawmakers which according to him is not sufficient to use to indict them.
